    You can communicate with us.

God cannot. If you do not think that that ability, (just to name one of many), is greater than the ability of a fictional character, then I doubt I can convince you.

Given that the chances of a cockroach - or dung beetle - to outlive humans as a species are incredibly high, this is a valid argument.

He doesn't, no. He gave us free will. As it were.

This is in the same vein that God doesn't rescue people from a plane going down, or mass shootings, or sexual assault, etc. Those are evils invented by humans and for humans to deal with. I'm certain our evils are largely our own and not all god's (any god) fault.

Interestingly enough, this is a primary listed reason many discount a god's existence. "why doesn't god help us" - because that isn't the job of a god. It's ours.

Yet Jesus, God to most Christians, said he came to serve, not be served.

Seems that Yahweh has a different view than what Jesus has. Strange as they are said to be the same supernatural entity. Sort of.

God has no free will because he cannot make up his mind as to what he is to do. Serve or be served.

Came to serve means dying for our sins. That's the service. To unravel that might take a few thread pages so I'll condense it to say, him dying for our sins lives in our hearts throughout our lives to use as guidance.

I'm not a Christian but I read a lot about religion. It's the strangest shit I've ever read, but also the most interesting.

    Indeed it is.

Religions once tried to speak to our deepest consciousness but now has just become a tribal entity that only want to appease our tribal instincts.

Religions used to be good before they became idol worshipers instead of God seekers.

We Gnostic Christians are perpetual seekers.

    On Jesus dying for us.
    First, God cannot die.

Second, scriptures are clear that if he bought into substitutionary atonement. his own bible would condemn him.

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Deuteronomy 24:16 (ESV) "Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.

Ezekiel 18:20 (ESV) The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.

Jesus would not go against that clear moral view.

The churches are obviously lying to us.

    We can think. God cannot.
We can reproduce true. God cannot.
We can have many children. God cannot.
We place the lives of our wives and families above our own. God does not.
We would cure instead of kill. God kills.
We do not torture babies. God does.
We believe in freedom. God does not.
Jesus does which is why he took the judgement seat from His Father.

You can continue to adore a God inferior to you, both intellectually and morally, or become a Gnostic Christian or Karaite Jew like Jesus was. Jesus the Good as the Chrestians used to call him before Christianity reared it’s ugly head by reading their myths literally and embrace their God of War.

Islam would be a better religion today if that had not forced Mohammad to change from a loving God to a God or War so as to fight fire with fire. Thanks Christians for Islam. Pardon the digression.

Jesus shows the way with his advice to seek God by closeting yourself. Are you ready to follow Jesus or will you stick with your lying priests, preachers, Rabbi’s and Imams?

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

You're a Gnostic, or is this a satirical post?

I am a Gnostic Christian and not kowtowing to some invisible guy in the sky is not satire. It is a good idea.

Who is your God and the best rules and laws to live life by if not your own conscience?
