Who is casting aspersions on the Bible and how do you know I haven't given it serious study?

Gods seem unlikely, but it seems entirely silly to go round defining yourself in terms of your thinking on that question, like calling yourself and anti-phlogistonist, or an anti-flat-earther. All things are possible, so if we have to go back to the Nineteenth Century, Agnostic (when challenged) seems more logical, I suppose.

OK, not really, but a clever retort to Voltaire, I've always thought.

This is a version of Pascal's wager. The reasonable inference is that the belief is inauthentic in any case, at least in this instance. But don't worry, Devil, I believe in an all-forgiving God, so I have your back on this one.

All who deny it cast aspersions on it. I'm in no way talking about you personally. I don't know how much study you've given the Bible, but it's too complicated to be the mere work of man.

god is about abilities. If you time traveled back and struck a match... you could be a god. Anyone and anything can be a god. To my cats, the water squirt bottle is god along with tuna

the question to ask yourself is do you believe humans are the only beings in the entire universe.

I never agree with this person on anything but this is good advice. Fuck everything you've been told and check the bible out with no outside influence.

I actually did feel that way until my atheist husband pointed out that if God is benevolent he would never leave me out of heaven. So now I can say I don't believe in God or heaven. I'm going to go chocolate land

Very true. Not only out dated, but makes no sense and contradictory.
