I believe there is intelligent life throughout the universe.......with the exception of certain parts of New Jersey.

Nope. There is no objective evidence of the existence of God. If God, exists, then he can't be angry at me for making my choices based on observable evidence. Not if he is a reasonable God. And, if he is not a reasonable God, I wouldn't want to worship him, anyway.

Nope. I'm atheist. Non-atheists seem to have this misconception that atheism is just as dogmatic as theism. It's not. Or, at least, it need not be. Atheism is simply the assertion that God does not exist. That is the default position. I can be persuaded to abandon that position. All anyone needs to do is present me with observable, objective evidence that God exists. The moment I see that evidence, I will alter my position. Until then, I will stick with my position - God does not exist.

I, of course, am under no such misapprehension.

    Religion is kinda' silly.
The severely limited and finite (mankind) trying to understand and define the infinite and unlimited (the Great Spirit.)
