But is he not almighty, the "creator" of all life, and therefore responsible for your pain to begin with, allowing this pain, especially for a devout christian to endure ?

That isn't how it works. At least not to my understanding.

God doesn't provide pain or bad times, those are byproducts of living in a world of choices among people who make choices. Those choices cause us pain. We cause our own pain. God can neither cause that pain nor lift suffering due to it.

    That is our responsibility.

Ok. Then again, if no matter how devout, religious and close to god i am, everyone is treated the same by him anyways, god cannot cause pain, or lift anyone's suffering, this is just life (which he gave)... then, what's the point ?

...and is entirely achievable without praying to your imaginary God. I was quite clear in my post what I meant by "practical". Again, you're a special kind of fanatic.

Soooo...the creator of everything, wasn't the creator of something? That sounds right to you?

LMMFAO!!! That is exactly what we keep screaming at you fuckers every time you try to force your religious morality - same sex marriage, abortion, etc - on us using the government, and legislation. Live your fucking lives, and leave the rest of us the fuck alone!!!

And, in context of this discussion, okay. I'll "mind my own business", and will watch what happens next with a clear conscience, as I watch the intercession of God demonstrated.

peace of mind giving you moral and values, is complete bogus.
You can bet your ass that the crazy guy shooting up Vegas last night, did this for his "peace of mind"..
Serial killers, often they do what they do the appease their mind, at least for a while, until the urge is growing so big, that they have to go at it again.

That has NOTHING to do with moral and values, obviously.

What it does represent, is pretty much what many others accomplish through meditation. Same concept, just without some high above, all powerful deity at the and of the exercise.

This libertarian argument is bullshit. You people aren't about free choice. You love forcing people who don't want to participate in gay marriage to be involved. "Bake that cake". You love forcing people to pay for your birth control. Go ahead and live your fucking life. Stop forcing other people to subsidize or participate in it if they don't want to.
