That really is a hypothetical question.

So when you SIN here, is it before or after your cup of coffee?

irrefutable proof were to come to light proving that the Christian god is real, and
you accept that proof, and so believe that the Christian god exists.

Now, you want to take god to task for having caused death and destruction in the past. You think that said death and destruction proves that god is not good, so you can't worship him.

What makes you think you know better than god what needs to be done? Remember, if the Christian god is real, death is merely a transition from one life into another, one that we all make sooner or later anyway.
So...if the Christian God is real, who cares if he was responsible for genocide, because death is just a transition? By that logic, why don't we all just walk off a cliff, and be done with it? After all, this life is just the prelude to the real life, right?

That's fucking absurd. Your own Bible affirms, over, and over, that life - this life - is precious. So, yeah, anyone wantonly obliterating that life is perverse. The only defence you are presenting is the Nixon defence, "When I do it, it is okay," You'll forgive me if I have a problem supporting a God who feels he is not accountable to the very rules to which he holds all others accountable.

Why do you think any deity would be responsible for genocide?

Uh...because he specifically commanded his people to commit genocide?

Uh, yeah. 1 Sam 15. Remember the entire premise of the OP is that irrefutable objective evidence is discovered that, not only demonstrates the existence of a creator God, but also that this Creator God is the accurately described God of the Christians. That would mean that the bible is accurate in its descriptions. It would remove any ability to simply discount any part of the Bible as "that didn't happen".
