Why should one side look down on the other?

Ignorance is the only reason I can think of.
Superiority backed by GOD! Just ask them!

Because they're human and it's what humans do to other groups. They take membership of a group and then judge/compare other groups to theirs. We all do it to some extent.

How much of a pathetic loser does one have to be to troll the internet?

The "no evidence" argument is a dead horse, the reality is that many internet atheists really aren't that bright and only know how to respond to really bad, fundamentalist arguments - but there are many educated thinkers or philosophers who have made strong arguments for a creator (or equivalent thereof)...

...which is why I don't pay much attention to atheists who just repeat stupid /r/atheism slogans and have probably never even read a single book.

I'm a retired federal agent and have dealt with real evidence all of my adult life.
What is your expertise with evidence?

    Let's see your evidence.
Stories that sound logical are still just stories.

A creator is not the same as many people's definition of god.
I'm talking about those who think god listens to prayers and controls events here on earth.

Do you believe in such a god?

Is the experience of a retired federal agent evidence or just their experience?

I believe a successful career as a federal agent most likely represents evidence of more familiarity with what real evidence is then say a bus driver or a carpenter.

If our friend Reality is a SCOTUS justice I'll defer.

    Edit: BTW...welcome to the forum.
