    Christians are hypocrites

Christians strive to meet a very high standard, but they inevitably fail. It's not that Jesus set the bar too high, it's just how people are. Although Christians fail to live up to their own Christian standards, we still owe Christians a tip of the hat though, for having a standard.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3 :23

Normally I don't post here due to the hostility and unfairness toward Christians, but this is one that can't go unanswered.

ALL Christians realize that they are liars, hypocrites, and worse. The heathen are too, but the heathen seek validation for what they know is wrong by condemning Christians. Christians strive to live up to the standards, but it is a journey, not a destination. Christians know what is evil and they try to make amends for it and work to be better people in the future.

Non-believers realize that a lot of things they do are wrong. Those who censor the truth know they are wrong. That is why they cannot afford real civil discourse that acknowledges all viewpoints. Today, the mainstream media is controlled and most of the Internet is as well. And both seem to have a vested interest in making sure you don't get a real response for a post like you just made.

Coming here to declare that Christians are hypocrites is not some golden revelation that is news. It's no more than saying politicians are liars. The difference is, as you acknowledge, Christians have standard for the better to work toward.

I disagree. All Christians are not hypocrites.

Then again, everyone who claims to be a Christian is not necessarily a Christian. In fact, it's been my experience that most of them aren't.

    They're certainly all sinners.

I honestly try not to be hypocritical but I know I don't always succeed.
