Roy Moore's nomination proved Republicans don't believe in government.

Peterson was outraged that black voters in Alabama overwhelmingly supported Moore’s Democratic opponent, Doug Jones, and declared that it was evidence that they are “brainwashed, dumbed-down, demoralized, corrupt people ” who “do not believe in truth at all, not one iota.”

“They do not believe in God,” Peterson said. “They do not. If they believed in God, they would have clear minds, they would have sound minds, they would have godly values that guides them.”
Well,we always knew the KKK racism was not far below the surface in the "Christian" Reich wing movement.

Yes, it's upsetting, but ho hum. Crappy racist shock jock on the radio down South?

He doesn't deserve your notice, MaryAnne.

Fair enough, but it is hard as hell now to control the state party's slate. Too much "dark money" is around, freeing candidates to do as they like because they are not dependent on state party contributions.

The thing that gets me is that so many of them "like" to do/be/vote for things they know are morally wrong and destructive to our democracy. Why is it people are so willing to discard their better angels the minute no one is looking?

Doesn't anyone have any integrity anymore?
