That strong evangelicals can support a man who at best pays lip service to christianity very blatantly only for the votes it would get him, is an admitted adulterer, regularly cheats people and so on is very hard for me to understand.
    Thanks from KnotaFrayed and MaryAnne

It shows just how clueless you are.

If you have to vote for someone that will directly impact your life, and you have two choices, you have to pick the lesser evil.

Why do you assume they support everything Trump does or stands for?

    More Christian bashing from you.
Mary Ann is a Christian,,,and a fine one, Why can’t you apply this same tolerance to gay people who also watch sports go on trips and vote and love their families etc.

Given the publicity about Moore's behavior, I doubt the above is really the case. Had Moore not had such questionable behavior, he would have won. The vote was too close - less than a 2% difference, IIRC.

That seems to be the only way Liberals can win elections, so eventuay people will catch on to that especially when you get exposed .
    Slandered without proof?

Tell us, who did you vote for, again?

You forget this was in a deep red state. There were enough common sense people who compared the history of both men. They managed to over come those who just wanted a Republican, never mind his history.

I still do not understand why Republicans chose Moore over Strange. I listened to his farewell speech on the Senate Floor. He made a good case for working together to solve problems. Sounded like a very level headed man.

Of course I will never understand the Evangelicals that voted for Trump, the obvious Con Man, either so there is that. I do know the Evangelical movement is full of men who think they rule. But, again I do not understand Evangelical women, either.

I have had women say they do not want a woman in the Pulpit. They have actually left Churches for that reason. I think men and women have their strengths, but consider them equal.

I also know a Con man when I see one. On the Christian side I am having great doubts on Organized Religion, considering how it is abused.
