When you guys can prove to us that God isn't real then you can call us stupid.

    Your "guessing" doesn't cut it.
You missed the point of the thread. How to tell someone that ghosts do not exist.

I gave no opinion...because in my opinion it is impossible to tell someone that believes in ghosts that ghosts do not exist.

I did not call anyone stupid.

As you can see by my title, I do not know how.

Scriptures say that to correct is a sign of love. Proverbs 3:12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Most do not see it that way when on the receiving end of that love.

I see correction as love just as the scriptures do. How do you see it and how would you tell a supernatural believing person that they are borderline stupid?

    Regards
    DL
Well, you don't. Just be nice about it and let people believe whatever they want. Reciting scripture as a reason to tell them - and then blaming them for believing it might cause a few double-takes.

Fair enough, I was not directing my comment to you then but those that are certain there is no God.

How do you tell someone that trying to come up with a compassionate way to insult a believer is borderline stupid?

If God designed what is, tell us why he designed Satan, evil, and stupid people who believe in all kinds of supernatural garbage.

It is a difficult question to answer for sure, especially since it involves using logic and reason on people who have gone into intellectual and moral dissonance to follow a supernatural genocidal son murdering prick that they somehow see as good.

I had a friend pull his kids out of school to home school them for religious reasons. I was shocked and asked a mutual friend if I should discuss it with him. The mutual friend said “well, let me ask you, would you like him to take you aside to lecture you about raising your kids in the immorality of public school?”

“Uh.... no. I wouldnt respond well to that”.

    “There ya go”.
