Some form of profit. One obtains political/religious power to get more wealth, then uses that wealth to get more power in order to get more wealth, etc, etc.
"wealth" can take various forms, land/territory, natural resources, control of strategic routes TO natural resources, etc. etc.

    Wow.

I never imagined you to subscribe to marxist dialectics.

When I engage with someone, I don't think any are evil because there can be evil deeds but not evil people.
No one thinks themself into a moral decision, we just react.

True. Evil occurs when we fail to act according to our inherent goodness.

False. In this case, we are no better than animals reacting to instinct. If there is no over-riding command of reason for us to act in a particular way, then there can be no judgement on the moral worth of our actions.

Now what? You care to refute, dispute or even argue with what I said or what?

More like people thinking that they're entitled to other peoples' private property.

I was just commenting out loud that I never imagined you'd subscribe to marxist dialectics. It wasn't intended to be snide.

And no, I didn't intend to argue the point with you since I subscribe to it, myself (up to a certain point).
