    Pure spirit? Really?

The typical argument for why no objective, verifiable evidence of the existence of God is that God is a being of pure spirit, and science can only observe the physical.

Okay. So, someone explain Genesis 3:8.

Which part? You could be coming at this from a couple different ways.

    Bereishis 3:8 (with Rashi commentary)

"Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day"

Sorry no one makes "sound" when walking, unless they are physical.

The Rashi commentary (including in my link) indicates: "What did they hear? They heard the voice of the Holy One, blessed be He, which was going in the garden."

    Seriously? That is your quandary?

God created everything but he cannot be heard?
