Luis Javier Ruiz was among the survivors of the massacre at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, where a gunman killed 49 people.
“I should of been of number 50 [sic],” Ruiz wrote in a Facebook post, in which he said he was no longer gay.
The belief that a person can change their sexuality is widely discredited by scientific evidence, but is promoted by a vocal minority on the fringes of conservative Christianity in the U.S. and elsewhere.

The enemy had its grip and now God has taken me from that moment and has given me Christ Jesus I've grown to know his love in a deeper level.”
Above a photo of two friends that lost their lives at the Pulse nightclub massacre, Ruiz continued: “I have the chance to live in relationship and not religion not just loving christ but being in love with christ and sharing his love I know who I am and I am not defined with who the enemy says I use to be but who christ Jesus says I am [sic].” Ruiz encouraged others to share his status update.
The post was accompanied by hashtags promoting the Freedom March on May 5, set to be held at the National Sylvan Theater, Washington D.C.. Organized by the fundamentalist Christian organization Voice of the Voiceless, it will be attended by people who claim they were able to reverse their respective sexual and or gender identities. The organization's website states: "The mission of Voice of the Voiceless is to defend the rights of former homosexuals, individuals with unwanted same-sex attraction, and their families. "https://uk.news.yahoo.com/pulse-shooting-survivor-claims-no-152152122.html?guccounter=1

Notice in this article where it says the changing of ones sexual identity is discredited by science. Never have seen science that justifies a person sexuality other then man and woman. Despite this tragedy at the pulse night club Ruiz found the cure for Homosexuality and it was Jesus Christ. He is telling his story to others with the Mission of Voice of the Voiceless to defend the rights of former Homosexuals.
Meh, he's still gay. Just decided to shackle himself to a silly conviction.
I think the same is going on with you, hence the constant anti-gay threads for validation.
It's quite sad to live a self-suppressed life.

What a fun life this guy’s future wife is going to experience.

“This is my husband. He’d actually prefer to be with men but he understands now that that’s wrong and with Gods help he’s sonetines even able to stomach sex with me”

Anyway, whatever. If he’s happy, I’m happy.

    So.....

    What religion are you?

    As in denomination?

Which church group do you attend?
No. Don't give aboutenough an out. It is incumbent that he answer that question as the burden lies on him due to what he has been saying here all of this time about religion. It is not on Nicnam.

Changed how? Because human emotions don't come with an on or off switch. He can suppress his emotions or choose not to act on them - but they're still going to be there.
He rejected his desire for men, sounds like that switch was turned off when he turned his life over to Christ.

What you call Bigotry is people that don't support a perverted lifestyle.

Now of course a person can choose to become religious, celibate and to not engage in sex anymore to, in essence, become ASexual. However, a person's sexual orientation cannot be removed or changed anymore than their skin color can. To try to do so would be cruel and unusual punishment and our loving God is not about that at all. He has given each person free will choice to do as they wish. He can, however, certainly intervene such as to free one be they Homosexual or Heterosexual from sexual promiscuity if they have been into that but that's pretty much the extent of it.
God gave us free will, but he also gave us guidelines to live by in the Bible. Some of those guidelines speaks of men lying down with men as being a perversion that should be rejected. We are also told about marriage being between on man and one woman.
