Exclamation Jesse Duplantis Says Jesus Would Be Spreading the Gospel via Private Jet.

We all know the story of the Christ.

We know that Jesse Duplantis wants a new jet

Jesse says that if Jesus was on the earth today, he would be using private jets to preach the gospel all over the earth.

Can the religious please explain if Jesse means if Christ were here on earth...pre-crucifixion?

Because if it was post crucifixion, that would make no sense...right?

I’m religious and I can explain.

I don’t know who Jessie whatever is. When he says something it means it’s sonething HE thinks. It doesn’t mean that a billion other people magically begin to think it because he said it.

A total stranger saying something doesn’t mean that I think it.

Is the airplane purchase gonna be tax free?

I don't care if people give him money for a plane, but I want him to pay taxes on the purchase.

These mega churches and mega preachers should pay taxes like the resto of us...

The really sad thing is that he'll get that money. Pathetic.

Now lissen here, if tax write-offs and exemptions and accelerated depreciation and loopholes like that written into the tax code make it more EFFICIENT to spread the Holy Gospel via luxurious private jet, then only a Satanist would be against that.

What are you, some kinda Satanist?

How many kind of Satanists are there?

I know a guy who worked with a "Satanist".

He thought the guy was only a Satanist to get weekends off.

Apparently his "church" had "services" on Sat and Sun.

I would think there are other kinds of Satanists, too, besides just the "Weekend Off" type..

Of course, you don't have a huge flock of followers that loyally send you money on a regular basis either, do you?

It's fascinating just how far modern Christianity has gotten from the faith that the people in Jesus' own time would have recognized. That was a religion where money was seen as an almost absolute barrier to salvation. In all three of the synoptic Gospels there's a story where Jesus tells a rich guy to sell everything he has and give the money to charity, because it's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to get into Heaven. If someone like the Jesus depicted in the Gospels were around today, he'd be showing up with a sledge hammer to trash Duplantis's private jet, and he'd make a whip of cords and use it to drive Duplantis out of the church, along with the other money changers.
    Thanks from Madeline and NightSwimmer
