Ketchup goes on hamburgers, mustard on hot dogs. Quit confusing the two!
I am not confused. Ketchup is either good or bad. Ketchup is bad. Mustard is either good or bad. Mustard is good. Ketchup goes on neither hamburgers nor hot dogs. Mustard goes on both hamburgers and hot dogs.

Glad to clear up the confusion.

    Clearly, you are confused.

    Nothing goes on hot dogs.

    Don’t eat hot dogs.

Seriously. For the love of God.

Hot dogs make my face sweat. That can’t be good.

Many years ago when I visited the USA as a young teenager, I was told that I must have a New York hotdog - that it was literally heaven on a stick.

So I did. But even to my totally unsophisticated teenaged palate, it was probably the most bland, uninteresting, and plasticky foodstuff I have ever encountered. The dollop of mustard was the only thing I could taste. It was even more uninteresting than a MacDonalds' hamburger.

And speaking of which, the best hamburgers I have had anywhere in the world were at the local fish and chip shop up in the mountains where my aunt lives. It is cooked in front of you and it has the lot - including fried onions, salad vegetables, pineapple, ground beef, eggs, bacon, and cheese, in a sesame bun. The only problem being, the finished product is so tall it is difficult to bite into.

Agree on the NY hot dog. Best burgers around here are In-N-Out double-double...fresh cooked, two patties, cheese, tomato, lettuce and raw or grilled onions. I get mine with xtra raw onion and no lettuce (grilled onions are only for liver). Best dogs are at Costco...$1.50 for a giant beef dog, add your own goodies, and a drink...but they don't have the polish dogs, the best, any more.

    Sounds like a Dagwood sandwich.

Best burgers around here are made in my kitchen.

To be fair, however, there is no kosher burger joint around here. There is one kosher restaurant* that only has meat once per week ... you can get a hamburger, but that's more of a kid's thing there ... the adult food is far better. (I hardly ever go because it's more expensive than it needs to be, IMO.)

    * There are other kosher establishments, but none with the title "restaurant" properly applied.

Not even 9:00 am and I'm hungry for a hamburger.

    I hate you people sometimes.

I know someone who actually drives 125 miles (one way) for an In-N-Out burger.

    Agree about the Costco hotdog.
