LOL. Did you think I was trying to elicit a response from you? I wouldn't imagine burdening the members of this forum with your usual garbage.

To be honest I donít know the details of that case, but do you mean imbuing the government with the power to coerce? Thatís been in place for quite some time. You can be coerced to attend a driver safety course. You can be coerced to attend drug rehab. You can be coerced to do community service, and probably a dozen other things when the state decides you have broken the law.

That statement was meant to be what? Non-santimonious? Non-holier than thou, judgmental? You live in an upside down world?

Yes, "liberals" elected a greedy, gluttonous, lying, narcissistic adulterer so they could keep "liberal" women from choosing to not be pregnant and so they could bar people of the same gender, from getting married or having to bake cakes, pizza pies and take photos of two people who love one another, but happen to be of the same gender.

Makes sense, in what world, but bizarro world? Is that where you live?

Thinking is not the strong suit of those in your world, is it, Mr. You Knoetze?

    Mr. Knot,

I live in the real world, a world where liberals preach separation of church and state, and this is a country of laws and rules, then become all holier than thou when those laws and rules go against what liberals think others should be doing.

If you believe all that so much, they by all means, sell everything you have, give it to who you thinks is downtrodden, and walk around in sack cloth. But, of course you will not, because as evidenced by the journal of philanthropy, the more liberal as city or state is, the less they give of themselves.

You are being obtuse. The state, by its very nature, wields coercive powers over those it governs. It does not, however, wield coercive powers over an individual's conscience. That is contrary to the social contract.

That is the point of the separation of church and state to begin with -- that a church MAY NOT wield the coercive powers of the state, and the state MAY NOT use its coercive powers on the peaceable exercise of an individual's conscience.

No, you live in a world of BS where NOTHING can be verified and nothing IS verified, but by someone's "say so", yet you and others spreading unverifiable BS, expect someone to believe you. Anyone can see Trump and his actions. If you somehow believe "liberals" are a problem, WITHOUT any mention or comparison to Trump, you are lying to yourself and showing the world how.

    Stop the BS!!

Did "the state" elect Donald Trump and all members of Congress? Who's being obtuse?

And, of course, this idea that anti-discrimination laws amount to the state using its coercive powers unlawfully to impact the peaceable exercise of an individual's conscience was pretty much settled by Heart of Atlanta Motel, Inc. v. United States in 1964. Apparently some of us are still coming to grips with that reality. So it goes.

    Cheers.
