You made the point that not all illegals are not criminals while holding up this preacher as a child molester. I asked you how many Preachers are Child molesters in reference to your answer on the illegals.

It’s a rational question pertinent to this thread

Your poorly worded response makes me want aspirin.
I'm not "holding up this preacher as a child molester", the police and a judge and jury did that, because that's what the piece of shit deserves.

Cases of child sexual abuse by Catholic priests, nuns and members of religious orders, and subsequent cover-ups, in the 20th and 21st centuries have led to many allegations, investigations, trials and convictions. The abused include boys and girls, some as young as 3 years old, with the majority between the ages of 11 and 14.[1][2][3][4] The accusations began to receive isolated, sporadic publicity from the late 1980s. Many of these involved cases in which a figure was accused of decades of abuse; such allegations were frequently made by adults or older youths years after the abuse occurred. Cases have also been brought against members of the Catholic hierarchy who covered up sex abuse allegations and moved abusive priests to other parishes, where abuse continued.[5][6]

Every American adult is a "law breaker", because all of us have broken traffic laws, etc. Illegal immigrants innocent of other crimes have never committed a crime that requires an evil intent or a violent tendency.

Their "crimes" are on a par with failing to return library books on time, and extensive studies show they are LESS likely than citizens to commit serious or violent crimes.

I actually want to go there.

What exactly is the difference between the op and what I posted -- aside from the more heinous nature of the crimes committed by us military service men abroad?

If the crimes of a pastor puts his religion into question (which I presume was the point of the op), what does the actions of american soldiers say about america?

Dude... You have no idea how often this happens. Each Freedom from Religion Foundation newsletter includes a section called "Black Collar Crime," which lists 60+ crimes committed by religious officials. They're not all related to child abuse; they're not all Christians. But search the "Black Collar Crime" section of any issue, search for the word "child" and it comes up disturbingly frequently.

Dude, that is nothing compared to the crimes of atheists.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_k...munist_regimes

According to Rudolph Joseph Rummel, the killings committed by communist regimes can best be explained as the result of the marriage between absolute power and an absolutist ideology – Marxism.[39] "Of all religions, secular and otherwise," Rummel positions Marxism as "by far the bloodiest – bloodier than the Catholic Inquisition, the various Catholic crusades, and the Thirty Years War between Catholics and Protestants. In practice, Marxism has meant bloody terrorism, deadly purges, lethal prison camps and murderous forced labor, fatal deportations, man-made famines, extrajudicial executions and fraudulent show trials, outright mass murder and genocide."

And religious wars depopulated Europe in the 16th century, so what is your point and what does it have to do with religious authority figures using their position to facilitate child molestation?
