I oppose same gender marriage (because of my Faith) But those that say same Gender marriage will destroy the institution of marriage have to come to understand DIVORCE has been much more of a agent of harm to marriage than same gender marriage ever could be.

I would like to have just one person who opposes same sex marriage -just one- to explain to me why others who do not share their faith, should have to live according to that faith. Just one!
    Thanks from cable2 and Panzareta

Divorce has saved the institution of marriage. I have been happily married for 30 years, but we had both been married-and divorced before. We were young and made bad choices or just were not ready for marriage, so we moved on, and got it right the next time. There are many like us. People who know us-young people who are thinking about marriage- see that it can work. If we had stayed in our first marriages, we would have been miserable and a bad example of what marriage is. If divorce were difficult or unavailable -less people might take the plunge in the first place and that is what would doom marriage.

The same hysterical people who equate reticence to embrace homosexuality with burning people at the stake dutifully line up behind Obama to defend a totalitarian death cult that actually executes homosexuals (and treats women like farm animals)

Quit flaunting homosexuality and offending those who do not like it and there will be no discrimination.
This is exactly the problem as conservatives see it. Just hide who you are, and it will be accepted.

Well, the problem is conservatives don't like blacks, hispanics, or women either, so what is your solution for them hiding who they are?

This is an example of how Trump won....ignorant people and their belief of how citizens should hide who they were born as.

Interesting, with zero medical proof you insist that you were "born homosexual"

that is called FAITH yet you want others to accept your faith and even look to the govt to impose your faith upon others.

I guess I hate myself given that I'm conservative and fall into one of your categories

Maybe try speaking in facts as opposed to emotion

The women accused of being witches at Salem weren't burned. That's a popular misconception. Most were hanged and one was crushed under rocks.
