Hillary is constrained by the present landscape. Sanders is running to bring about a new landscape, and if he manages to upset Hillary he can do that.

Bernie Sanders isn't offering to seek the public option for the PPACA. What Bernie has proposed is to throw out everything and start over with an attempt at UHC. That's never going to happen, and even he knows it.

What he needed was more engagement of the public, instead of taking it for granted that even though they were extremely anxious they would eventually get on board with what he was doing.

    Landslides aren't needed.

Getting people involved to force their legislators out of the smoke-filled rooms where they're hiding out with lobbyists is what is needed.

He would take a significant lunge in that direction. He would do it with the backing of the 65 million fired up voters who put him into office.

    Compromises would have to happen.

But he would never ever give up fighting for improvements.

He won't hunker down into the bunker like Hillary will.

What improvements has Obama offered to improve Obamacare.. list them one by one if you wish.. the only thing Obama has done is cut revenue collected from big corportions (by delaying new taxes on corporations, but not on individuals).

Why are you asking me to name something good Obama has done?

Go talk to someone else about that.
