Exactly. I'm that secret government agent that knows what's in the President's book of secrets. I know about Roswell, about what's secretly buried in Mt. Rushmore, about what lies beneath the Capitol building. I know that there's a alien spacecraft hidden in Area 51. And I know where Kennedy's assassins are buried. Just south of Lompoc, CA.
I am the "cigarette smoking man" from the X-Files.
My niece is stationed there, she sends lots of pretty pictures from the beach.
I guess they aren't allowed to photograph anything else.
Bush/Cheney/DOD, whatever, managed to keep GOOGLE EARTH images of GTMO off the net for about 3 or 4 years. Try as I may, everytime I tried to google over it, google would divert me off into ocean. So I'm sure they can keep people from taking pictures.

President Obama signed an EO on Jan 22, 2009. He was continually blocked by Congress in several ways, including defunding. On inauguration day republiCons began their crusade to "make him a one-term president" by obstruction and just refusing to compromise on everything he tried to do. They (Rs) put a hold on 70 of his judicial appointments and even shut down the government. In spite of their hatred and obstruction, he won a second term...and tried again to shut down Gitmo, with the same result.
This is from 2013...when President Obama tried again to shut it down.
The reason it wasn't closed down was because of hatred and obstruction? Or previously that could have been called the balance of powers between legislative and executive branch. Maybe he couldn't shut it down because it was considered a bad idea by the legislature. Everything isn't a racist war.
