    Weird.
Lots of Americans WILL, and DO work in the Middle East.

Yes, the money is usually good.

    Good benefits, too.

Lots of contracts are for a year, with expenses and housing provided, and a free trip home in the middle.

If you do another year, you get a bonus and a raise.

And, there are lots worse places than Dubai.

    Saudi, too.

Not too sure where nuclear bombs fit into this paradigm. Most killed by the A-bombs in 1946 died instantly, but those who did not suffered the miseries of the damned.

Both nuclear bombs and Agent Orange cause horrendous chromosome damage to the living and to their children. And possibly, to.tgeir grandchildren. Not to mention, they poison the air, etc. beyond hope of restoration.

No nation which is signed to the Geneva convention now should have napalm or Sarin or small pox bombs, but the U.S. absolutely does.

MOST nations also agree to submit to the World Court, where they can be tried for war crimes.

But not the U.S. The specter of every former POTUS behind bars in some European jail is not a welcome idea to Americans.

We're better at pointing out another nation's war crimes than in confessing our own.
    Not true about agent orange.

But civilians ALWAYS die in war.

Whether intentionally targeted or not, they ALWAYS die.
    Yes, I get that much.

How many wars can you list in which no innocent civilians were killed?
Why would you even ask such a stupid thing???

For a self-respecting American woman with a Joan of Arc complex?

    I rather doubt it.

Living and working overseas is not for everyone.

There are benefits and drawbacks to carefully consider.

Everyone should make their own decision.
