The people are not calling for his impeachment, not like they were Nixon's. Trump's still polling in the low 40's or high 30's.

Nixon was at 28% on the day he resigned.

    Everyone has an opinion.

They write provocative editorials with provocative headlines/titles to get people to read them, and even sell a few papers.

Sometimes even they don't even believe all of what they write.
The LA Times is a liberal paper that opposed Trump's election like it was the San Andreas fault.

It matters that a leading voice AMONG LIBERALS is calling for restraint and reflective, reasoned thinking.

I'm not going to make any prediction right now, but I would say there is a far greater probability of something bad happening to Trump, than him winning re-election. That is highly unlikely.

    Maybe.

Or....Trump could attack the opioid epidemic and reignite the support among his voters.

    ETC.

    Odds are, he won't.

    But he COULD.

Neither do the Republicans, and that does not stop them from getting elected. (Of course, they got state legislatures to gerrymander the Congressional districts in their favor, so that it may be nearly impossible to wrest the House from them irrespective of political winds, but nobody pays much attention to that.)

Fair is fair. The media do not report his successes with any fanfare, but jump on his mistakes like they did Gerald Ford's.

He could catch a pass from Tom Brady and win the Superbowl

They have absolutely no solutions to the problems facing everyday Americans, and they know it.

Deflections and strawmen, tactics we see employed here every day.
I think every patriot should tell his party to go piss up a rope, and support Bernie.

Hillary would have been an even bigger disaster for us 99%-ers.

It's a class war, and nobody is fighting the 0.01% other than Bernie.

They think they have a majority because they're popular.

    Don't tell.

No, they don't. They think cheating is just dandy.
