No,they are mixing it with Heroin and other drugs now. A Pilot and his wife just died in a very middle class neighborhood.

The Reporter who did the bit about Montgomery County was warned to put on his mask while going on raids with Police.
He asked why. The answer?Because you would be Dead!" just inhaling a little will kill you.

    Lol.

So, then how do you justify administering Narcon to anyone, ever?

And if the idea is to allow behavior-related diseases to kill, then why treat heart attacks in smokers or the obese? Why rescue "extreme sports" nuts who knowingly place themselves in danger?

    and again.... excellent!!!!

is it illegal to smoke, eat or play sports? no...i didnt think it was.

Research to combine cannabis and opiates for pain treatment needs to pick up a little. Anecdotally people report dropping their need for opiates enormously if they pair it with weed. NFL players have been using it for years to avoid the pitfall of painkillers that Brett Favre fell into. And research is now looking into ways to use the cannabinoid receptors in the brain to reduce pain without the addiction or tolerance issues of opioids. Pretty awesome.

This information is a rabbit hole that goes on forever. The more you read about it...you have to be careful because otherwise you'll end up thinking you need to sprinkle it on your Cheerios every morning, it has so much potential upside.

WTF do you expect when the "War on Drugs" is just harsh prison sentences for drug users, no rehabilitation, and basically label them as felons for life unable to get a job? There is hardly any rehabilitation in this country because of completely ignorant people who have zero empathy and are completely holier than though hypocrites.

God forbid we take money from prison and put it towards actually trying to rehabilitate people. Or god forbid we attempt to make drug use safer. 40 years of ever increasing prison sentences in the War on Drugs is obviously a failure. Doing the same thing and expecting different results is absurd. Stop catering to the people that don't know shit about anything in this world and refuse to try new ways to attack problems because they are stubborn idiots

And lets be real, there is also a physiological role in addiction. CHemical signalling in the brain drives the addiction. Withdrawals drive the addiction and can evne cause death. So people need to stop being stupid about addiction. Yes, there is a personal responsibility in getting addicted in the first place, and it takes willpower to fight addiction, but lets not pretend its as easy as "hey, just don't do it" There are actual new drugs in development for dealing with addiction to overcome this biological aspect of addiction

Spoken like people that never had an addiction . Or, they probably do have an addiction that may not be as severe and are just full of shit and holier than thou

The War on Drugs has been very successful...for the private prison business.

It's infuriating, and we have so many people, both left and right, so friggen brainwashed that they think politicians have to constantly be "tough on crime." The idiocy of the american people and the ability of the media to so easily propagandized people is amazing. The media, which is owned by the big corporations that are profiting off our collective stupidity.

No politician dares address these things as they will be attacked as being "easy on crime" and other nonsense rhetoric and fear mongering that the voting public just happily goes along with.

To be honest with you, even though I wouldn't change it, this is what guaranteed freedom of speech gets us. THe freedom of the media and other people to sell crap and misinform people and keep them ignorant, so the rich and powerful can continue to screw the country while making a killing.

And the same idiotic policies go on and on and people have the nerve to bitch and complain about it, while its partly their doing

I don't agree. I'm sure every addict wants to be rid of their addiction.

We just need to be there and prepared to help them when they reach bottom.
