Long term since 1969 there have been very few Hurricanes in the US

2 years we had major Hurricane seasons 2005 and 2017 have 1 thing in common. INCREASED SOLAR ACTVITY (the Sun woke up).
Hurricane Ike made landfall on the Texas gulf coast on September 13, 2008. I know we stayed in Houston through this storm. We lost electricity for 13 days. I believe 2008 is within the 12 years you mentioned.

Then there was Hurricane Gustav in 2008. I believe 2008 is within the 12 years you mentioned.

As usual when you say there have been no hurricanes to hit the United States in the past 12 years is just more Tennessee bullshit.

The number of hurricanes in the Atlantic basin are increasing, it's just that the US has been lucky and few hit land (so far).

    Check this out:

"Katrina. Wilma. Sandy. During the past 10 years, these names have unfortunately become common parts of the American lexicon. They symbolize a decade that featured 15 of the costliest hurricanes on record that resulted in thousands of casualties, millions of destroyed homes, and more than $310 billion in total damage.

This “Decade of Destruction” infographic from MPA@UNC, the online format of the Master of Public Administration program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, explores the devastating damage caused by hurricanes between 2004 and 2013, the relief and recovery efforts of government agencies and NGOs, and preventive measures taken to protect the nation’s most vulnerable communities from future natural disasters."

    You can't.

Also, clean energy is not cheaper, not even close.

They would have to face it anyways, we can't stop it.

You do realize we are coming out of an ice-age and temperatures will rise.

    Its just nature.

Indeed. I am of the mind that every idiot that denies the preponderance of scientific conclusions on the issue resides on this forum, blathering about how their imbecilic interpretations of reality, such as "we are in a natural warming period" is correct and the overwhelming scientific data is wrong.

Somehow, these folks seem to think mindless trolling is of equal validity as the science in the matter.

So what percentage of the warming is due to natural causes according to science?

Or are you of the mindset that nature never contributes to warming?

Your "argument" fails when you suggest that science claims only man's contribution causes warming.
