As long as Russia is not pay-rolling "coloured revolutions" in Western countries, like it was the case in the Ukraine etc., it is retarded to talk about the "Russian interfering".

It has and always has been a problem. That makes it an ongoing concern. I did not dismiss it.

NO. They were successful in interfering in 2016. They hadn't had much success up until then. That's what you're denying and dismissing.

Oh bullshit. Color revolutions were about people throwing off the yoke of governments that oppressed them and in who's selection they had no hand. That's not illegitimate at all, if you accept the notion of the America in the first place. I know not everyone does.

You can't compare someone who imprisons his political enemies, strangles civil society groups, and attempts to ruin other nations' democracies by spreading lies to support of color revolutions. These things aren't black and white--the US certainly interferes in the affairs of others in illegitimate ways (see Venezuela circa 2000 or Chile circa 1965) but you're attempting an obviously false equivalency.

This has been coming a long time unfortunately. We essentially made the bed for this to happen. I wondered how easy it was for them to get in but now I understand. American companies under the guise of globalization seems to have let them take a peak. It wouldn't surprise me now to find out Facebook, IBM and lots of others let them in as well.

I am not sure we know that yet. I think it was PACE who had threads here indicating many towns and states noticed glitches and reported issues as far back as 2014. But nothing was done. If anything we might find out how far and widespread this went.

I remember concerns back in 2004 or even before. Every voting method used in the US should create a paper trail, something permanent on paper that can be reviewed at a later date. Fully-electronic methods are just not trustworthy.

I cant describe it any other way but we got lazy. Right up until election day there were states considering online voting and some "experts" out there basically saying "get with the 21st century, paper is not green." That sort of thing. Same kind of thing we often hear about getting a paper receipt anymore. Even saw one so called expert claiming people were juvenile to think that online voting isn't secure. Now it seems nobody wants online voting anymore. Many states going back to optical scans with a paper trail.

If the CIA is not engaged in this sort of thing where it would serve the U.S., I would be shocked. Somebody's head would have to roll if they aren't doing this.
