If NFL players are alienating anyone, it is racist bigots, and they can eat shit and die for all I care. Or eat Papa Johns and die -- not much difference.

Chuck E Cheez is actually better. Maybe sales are down cause it sucks as bad as Dominoes and costs too much. Most chain pizzas are predictable and lame.

    Maybe it's just shitty pizza.

Pizza Hut was flung into the spotlight on Thursday after Greg Creed, the CEO of parent company Yum Brands, said that the NFL protest had "no impact"on the chain's sales.

Respecting the flag is not racism.

LOL... Businesses whining in public rarely works out in the age of the internet.

I will definitely agree that some of those that disapprove of the player's actions do so because of their racist attitudes. But, I cannot and do not accept that all those that disapprove do so for such reason. I support the player's right to protest. Moreover, I see it an issue between the players and the owners. Like any business owner, the team owners have the right to establish workplace behavior rules as they relate to the potential impact such may have on their customer base. Conversely, the players have the right to not accept those rules and not work for the owners.

Again, I support the players right of protest, but I do not support the manner in which they protested. If they wish to kneel prior to or after the anthem, fine, just not during the anthem. Or if they want to use social media or other means to express their issues, fine. I personally find their manner of protest to be disrespectful of the Country that provides and secures their ability to protest. Perhaps, if one has watched a member of their unit placed in a body bag or have seen the flag draped coffins being place on an aircraft, one would have a better understanding of the disapproval by some. I am not asking anyone to agree with me, just the understanding of my position and to acccept that not everyone that disapproves of the manner of protest is a racist bigot.

So they have the right to protest, so long as you approve of subject and manner of protest (which, of course, defeats the purpose of the protest).

I am not suggesting that the right to protest requires my approval. All I am asking is an understanding of why I, personally, did not approve of the manner in which they protested.

Pretending to respect the flag because someone else will be pissed off if you don't is just sad.
