@Southern Dad couldn’t even get the facts right. He wasn’t convicted while in office nor has he been re-elected.

Jackson Jr. was in Congress from 1995 until he quit in 2012 amid the criminal investigation and treatment for bipolar disorder and depression. He is the son of civil rights leader the Rev. Jesse Jackson.
Pay attention to what I type. He went to JAIL while still a Congressman. He was arrested June 23, 2007, also in December 1999, and October 2012.

No where did I say that he was convicted. I'm sorry that your reading comprehension skills suck. I said that he was in JAIL while a Congressman.

But you're obviously Ok with it, well, based on your defense of the OP, yes?

and that is not a reflection on the voter, but on the individual. Now again, how many of those people are running for office?

Jesse Jackson, Jr. is a great example.

How Jesse Jackson Jr. collects $138,400 a year from the federal government, getting Workman's Comp and Social Security Disability. And he was reelected after the arrest.

Jackson won re-election in November 2012 with 63 percent of the vote. He did not campaign or run a TV ad, but addressed voters in a pre-election robocall. "Like many human beings, a series of events came together in my life at the same time, and they've been difficult to sort through," he said in the call. "I am human. I'm doing my best. And I'm trying to sort through them all."

What an ignorant post. No where have I defended the OP. No where. I've presented some facts, that's all. Talk about needing to brush up on reading comprehension.
