Gillibrand is such a bandwagon jumper. A few years ago, she was campaigning with Bill Clinton. #MeToo happens and then, 20 years after the fact, she decides that Bill Clinton should have resigned. It took seven women accusing Al Franken before she jumped on that band wagon.

They need to be rallying around some sort of agenda with tangible goals and give voters a reason to come to the polls. It's as if they think it's better to spend your time promoting your brand than creating a worthwhile product.
thank you. I couldn't have put it better myself. "We hate Trump" didn't work for Hillary and it hasn't worked since Trump got elected. Sarah Sanders is right. The voters knew Trump was a horrible person and they elected him anyway. People who don't have jobs or are underemployed could care less if Trump is womanizer. He's president now so that ship has already sailed. They want to hear how they'd be better off if the Dems were in control. Ugggh. It's so frustration. Right now, even Republican's are turning on Trump. While the Dems are focused on all the wrong things. They should be out in force focused like a laser on showing how this proves Republican's could care less about voters. Republican's have gone along with what ever Trump has done. Ignoring his bromance with Putin, refusing to institute sanctions, alienated our allies, praising white supremacist as "good people", one cabinet member after the other being involved in a scandal, people leaving the WH like it's a human tennis ball shooter, on and on an on. But, the moment they think their own personal interests ( or hanging on to power ) might be threatened , suddenly they get religion? How hard could it possibly be to come up with a viable alternative to such blatant self-interest and hypocrisy?

You may not have noticed, but attitudes have changed over the last 20 years. Thats why the metoo movement is taking place now, and didnt happen 20 years ago.

    Youre right about that.

He ought to read about the trucking industry's concerns about trumps infrastructure plan.

That's not the variable. She didn't just discover in the past couple years that women are victimized by powerful men. The reason people like her are now willing to throw Bill Clinton under the bus is because he can't do anything for them anymore. He's not in political office and he won't be in the White House with Hillary. So the cost to dump him is minimal. Same with Franken. At a certain point, Senate Democrats realized that the Minnesota governor would appoint another Democrat and that by dumping Franken, they gained standing to criticize Roy Moore and could gain that seat. Or more importantly, they were losing standing by ignoring several accusers of Franken.
