I more or less understand this one.

    But "it's complicated".

Decrying gun violence but refusing to address lead poisoning, because it is not as satisfying as lambasting gun rights advocates.

Not entirely. Deserves its own thread, IMO.
    Thanks from Amelia

Hi Madeline.......Fracking is does not bring cheap gas.....it is an expensive way to extract fossil fuels, especially when one takes the cost to the environment into account...So don't worry....When the price of fuels (like gasoline) are high it makes extraction by fracking more feasible, when fuel prices are low, the cost for extracting eats up the money can be made at the pump.

Falling Oil Price slows US Fracking

I support Netanyahu and his chutzpah for vowing to continue to have Israeli settlements built in disputed Palestinian territory....It's good that a people could "take back" their "homeland" after so many many years.....and establish, in Palestine, a homeland for the Jewish people....even if there are many UN resolutions regarding what Bibi is doing....It's not like Israel is a theocracy, but damn, the UN and anyone that thinks what Bibi is doing in the name of Israel are all ant-Semitic!

I sure hope Trump gets elected and builds that wall.......we gotta block all those immigrants who want our land....our jobs.... our free healthcare and free education.....they might want to build settlements too!!
    Thanks from MaryAnne

No it doesn't. The concept is simple. Demanders of low skilled entry level labor enjoy a massive supply glut which organically depresses entry level wages....importing and legitimizing tens of millions of low skilled illegals from Mexico, et al, exacerbates this supply glut.

Pandering to mandating entry level "living wages" for the low skilled while supporting the importation and legitimization of tens of millions of low skilled illegals is the pinnacle of cognitive dissonance (or abject ignorance to the role Supply and Demand plays on wages)

Supporting tough immigration laws, the farmers of Alabama complain they can't find any American citizens to work their fields like those "lazy" illegals.
