Well if this is correct, then someone has a little bit of explaining to do. Just how many of our troops are missing. These bodies appear to have been tortured. I hate this war, but this really pisses me off.
The Genocide of MILLIONS of innocent men, women and children is something thats TOTALLY abhorrent.Even better, we should drop atomic bombs over the entire asian continent + northern africa. Make sure with kill every child, woman and man, so no one will grow up again to become terrorists.
What's needed are cool-heads, and pragmatism and logic....NOT Gung-Ho kneejerk reactions such as dropping Atomic Bombs across TWO entire Continents resulting in MASS Genocide.
War is hell, ain't it? It seems that the outrage against the "enemy" is from the same people that were beating the war drums. But what did you expect? The Japanese tortured and killed many of our troops. The Nazis committed atrocities as well. The Russians raped all the German women they saw. Richard the Lion Hearted decapitated all of the Arab prisoners that he promised to return Saladin. Vlad Tepes impaled the heads of his captured enemies to instill fear into the enemy that was about to invade. We invaded and toppled the government in one of Islam's holiest of lands. I guess everyone believed the liars that said we would be welcomed with open arms.
The outrage is misdirected. The outrage should be directed to our elected officials who voted to give the President powers not granted to him in the constitution. The outrage should be directed at our elected officials of the past 60+ years for a flawed and imperialistic foreign policy. The outrage should be directed at the MIC for it's influence in our policies since the 50s. The "enemy" is only doing what anyone would do if subject to foreign invaders.
Death is death, isn't it? What's the difference between a beheading and blowing someone to bits with an RPG? We allowed our elected officials to do this. We allowed this atrocity to happen and now we are outraged....at the wrong people!
We need to bring our kids home now.
I don't think they like "us" being in the Middle East. They said so before.
Let's get our resources elsewhere.
The manner in which a man is killed doesn't matter to me. But the measure of their intent to cause pain should be matched and met in kind. Cruelty is a psychological device used to strike fear into the enemy. A person tortured, a person bombed, a person shot, a person poisoned... they all die. But the manner in which they are killed affects us emotionally. In order to prevail, we have to defeat the enemy. That, or leave. Its our choice. They seem to be intent on defeating us. How much courage do we have to win? Not enough I think.
