You guys don't see it coming, just as you didn't see Trump coming.

You guys will find yourself supporting a failed antiquated irrelevant party with no representation in this Country.

    What will you do?
    I'm not worried at all.

Parties fall in and out of of support all the time.

The GOP has lost the popular vote in the last 3 elections...actually only won it once in the last 7 POTUS elections .

Trump only won the EC by 107,000 people. More people than that live in my city.
    Thanks from Panzareta

Instead of insulting me perhaps you could point out where my assessment is wrong, i.e. like when the democrats have ever told the truth.

However, I don't have much confidence his colleagues will listen to him.

It may be too late for the Party as a whole.

We can expect to see another heavy handed blow to the Democratic Party in 2018.

I'm not sure there is a recovery.
John, Democrats won seats in both Houses this election. And for damned sure Republicans did not win with Trump. He ran against both parties. Republicans hung on to the Senate by the skin of their teeth and kept the House by extreme gerrymandering.

Of course they made some mistakes - both parties don't seem all that interested in the working guy much anymore. And hopefully both parties will do more to address their concerns.

But I swear some of the Democratic leadership freaking out over everything at the moment - seems like real over kill to me.

They need to worry about fighting Trump tooth and nail on the policy issues they disagree vehemently with him first - and then worry about what they do going forward.
They also need to work with Trump on the things he wants to pass the nene fit the worker and this country.

The Republicans have the House, the Senate and the White House.

The Republicans have Governors in 35 states.

There are only 5 states left that have Democrat Governors and Congresses and you're making a big deal about the insignificant popular vote.

    LOL .....

There is nothing left of the Democratic Party and still you are unable to see it.

    I agree ......

But, they won't. They will fight Trump every step of the way leading to even a larger defeat for the Democrats in 2018.

    Yeah .....

Same excuse you guys have been using for the last 4 elections.

The Democrats hold less seats in Congress than they have held since the 1920's.

    But, it's gerrymandering, right?
