Ginger CLEARLY doesn't understand those words, Dutch. Do YOU????

Here was my post #15, Dutch, and feel free to comment on it if you like:

Your thread title is a LIE. From your OWN link:

While the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) does not dispute the CIA's analysis of Russian hacking operations, it has not endorsed their assessment

LeRoy: They do NOT 'dispute' and hence do NOT 'reject' the CIA assessment.

I think you need to spend a few hours nestled in the comfort of your dictionary. Though perhaps you call it a definitionary.

The recount want nowhere. The dems' attempt to nullify the election will go nowhere. It's pathetic.
This is going to blow up in the faces of Trump and his supporters. I had to eat crow when Trump won and my side lost, but you guys are setting yourselves up for a serving of crow yourselves.

You forgot to point out and mention a few things:

'ODNI is not arguing that the agency (CIA) is wrong, only that they can't prove intent,' said one of the three U.S. officials. 'Of course they can't, absent agents in on the decision-making in Moscow.'

"Two U.S. representatives accused Clapper of perjury for telling a congressional committee in March 2013, that the NSA does not collect any type of data at all on millions of Americans. One senator asked for his resignation, and a group of 26 senators complained about Clapper's responses under questioning. Media observers have described Clapper as having lied under oath, having obstructed justice, and having given false testimony."

"In November 2016, Clapper resigned as Director of National Intelligence, effective at the end of President Obama's term."

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_R._Clapper

Tell us, where does Edward Snowden now reside, for what reasons is he hiding and with whose protection?

"During his years of IT work, Snowden had noticed the far reach of the NSA's everyday surveillance. While working for Booz Allen, Snowden began copying top-secret NSA documents, building a dossier on practices that he found invasive and disturbing. The documents contained vast information on the NSA's domestic surveillance practices" (Seems to refute Clapper's claims)

"Snowden remained in hiding for slightly more than a month. He initially planned to relocate to Ecuador for asylum, but, upon making a stopover, he became stranded in a Russian airport for a month when his passport was annulled by the American government. The Russian government denied U.S. requests to extradite Snowden. While some decried him as a traitor, others supported his cause, and more than 100,000 people signed an online petition asking President Obama to pardon Snowden by late June."

"The following month, Snowden made headlines again when it was announced that he had been offered asylum in Venezuela, Nicaragua and Bolivia. Snowden soon made up his mind, expressing an interest in staying in Russia. One of his lawyers, Anatoly Kucherena, stated that Snowden would seek temporary asylum in Russia and possibly apply for citizenship later. Snowden thanked Russia for giving him asylum and said that "in the end the law is winning."

Interesting that the Trump has gained supporters through the suggestion that government and the U.S. media are not to be trusted, based on his say so and because he's a billionaire business man (like no other?) some Americans believe him. Not only has he built mistrust of the U.S. government, he has now, several times, either praised a foreign government over his own (something he attacks others for doing) and encouraged people from a specific foreign nation (Russia) to find, steal and publish, more of his political opponents communications. Why not also encourage them to find and steal his own, if he has nothing to hide, by comparison.

Too many things are smell fishy and Trump's constant denial or attempts at obstructing doing legally what he encouraged others to do illegally only makes things more rotten smelling.

Just imagine if Trump supporters had millions of dollars to invest with someone like Bernie Madoff, because he said he was the "best"?

What's the best way to set up a coup in any nation? Sew the seeds of mistrust and cause confusion. When the people of that nation are at one another's throats, unsure of who's on what side or what their universal values are anymore, walk in and take control, especially of all the things you got people to mistrust, like government and the media, making them forget somehow that might makes right anarchy is not a workable solution for societies of people anymore than Communism that requires an enforcer (of the rules) class in what is supposed to be a classless society.

Because America does not seem to have a grip on what it's universal values are, who to trust, who's lying, who is not, it is highly vulnerable to the typical scenario of a super controlling form of rule/government to come in and dictate the way things will be, NOT allowing the freedom and choice of the people to choose the way they would like it to be.

Not only are people confused about what sources of information are biased, have agendas are telling the truth or not, they have been taught to exaggerate their inherent mistrust of government (one that works pretty well if people participate in keeping it balanced by doing things like voting), but some people are somehow refusing to see how their apathy regarding or mistrust of government is only exacerbating the problems they see in government, since SOMEBODY will go to vote, if they do not.

This nation can't survive as a nation of free people in any sense if people give up their right to choose who their government is. It's a vicious cycle and we are seeing the deterioration of not just trust, but who is elected to be entrusted with the very government they attack and sew the seeds of mistrust about.

It's like saying don't trust anyone who holds a position in A, as a means to get yourself elected to the top executive position in A. Why would someone trust you anymore than any of those you said to mistrust, not because of who they are, but because they hold a position in A, the place you're running to hold a position in?

Why would someone think it makes sense to call a system "rigged" or the Electoral College "a disaster for the country", then be elected them and not have a problem explaining how 1. the election was NOT rigged in their direction 2. Not a disaster for the country, the elected person said it was?

This is why Trump loves the uneducated. They believe things from right wing extremist news and don't bother to check legitimate sources. The CIA has indeed concurred there was Russian hacking and have proof. Oh wait maybe the CIA is in a conspiracy too

Today I saw on Facebook a news article that reported that Obama had been officially charged with falsifying his birth certificate. It was dated Nov 30, as if the charge was laid Nov 30, and had hundreds of comments expressing how wonderful this 'news' was.

This is not 'confusion' about what is real and who to trust. This is not about 'sides'.

It's just downright, bottom line lying to people.
    Thanks from BigLeRoy
