Trump likes taking credit for "talking" about an issue. He loves saying "No one would be talking about ...an issue...if he did not bring it up first". NAFTA was a done deal. Why would Hillary bring it up.
No matter what Trump thinks on Trade imbalances or Trade deals...It's the Congress that is drive the issue. Democrats were accused of being in the pocket of big money, and the GOP played populists this election, but when push comes to shove...we all know where big money puts their money down.

First, though, look at the EU and take steps to avoid the issues they are having (Primarily, the issue of having un-elected bureaucrats run the continent...)

I also want to see a "NAFTA ID" card, that serves as a Green card (or the equivalent), in ALL three nations. THIS would solve much of our "illegal immigration" woes, as MEXICANS (and Canadians) could easily cross borders, to work and vacation, in the other nations. The fact that it is an ID, would mean that we can also keep up with people somewhat, although, certainly someone will find a way to fake them. We have laws that punish that.

Mexico, is a nation just WAITING to become a major economic player. The only thing holding them back is corruption in their system. All nations have corruption, but, in Mexico it is the norm, not the exception.
There is no way this is going to happen, not in my life time anyway. America is soo anti treaty alliance I think
Trumpsters would bring their shot guns to rallies and visually show their intent to keep Trump from doing anything like that. This likely would be one bridge too far for them.

The card that Canadians and Americans can use at the border if they are frequent travelors between the two countries called the NEXUS card has been expanded and on June 29 at the 2016 North American Leaders’ Summit it was announced that by the end of 2016, "Canadian and American citizens who are members of the NEXUS Program will be eligible to apply to the Viajero Confiable Program, providing them with expedited immigration screening upon arrival at select international airports in Mexico. The arrangement will also allow Mexican nationals who are members of the Viajero Confiable Program to apply for the NEXUS Program." This is the best that can be hoped for but it by no means is a Green Card just a fast track way to cross the border for frequent cross border travelers on vacation or business.

It was Hillary this cycle, Romney 2012 and Obama in 2008 that got the Wall Street cash.

Then you weren't paying attention but that doesn't surprise me. You were duped by Trump and the Right on this:

"The ads claim that Clinton championed NAFTAî is misleading. It is true that Clinton once praised the North American Free Trade Agreement that her husband championed. As recently as 1998, she praised business leaders for mounting ìs very effective business effort in the U.S. on behalf of NAFTA.ì

http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Hill...e_Trade.htmBut her position on trade shifted before her presidential run: In 2005, for example, she voted against the Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), and she told Time in 2007 that îI believe in the general principles [NAFTA] represented, but what we have learned is that we have to drive a tougher bargain.

I'm don't think so TNVolunteer73. Nothing is going to change in terms of the general frame work and there will be no scraping of it. What you see is just posturing so he can say he is working on it. Just like the Romney interview and the Gore meeting its just for show. Carlos Slim is reportedly very happy after meeting with Trump which means he was re-assured there will be business as usual when it comes to Mexico. But TNVolunteer73 look SQUIRREL….

FIRST people on the Right or even Center that Trump sells out?

    Will be the anti-trade/pro-tariff guys.

He'll CLAIM "I didn't need to...I cut great deals to get Mexico to invest in the U.S. and guys like Carrier to stay here. So I didn't need to re-negotiate NAFTA....I fixed it with that stuff."

Same with his promises to them of "going after China"..........total bullshit.

No, he won't. He cut some deals....using taxpayer money as tax credits to business to get them to re-locate some jobs in Mexico back here or keep some jobs going to Mexico to stay here (i.e. like the Carrier deal).

Then, he'll CLAIM he "didn't need to renegotiate NAFTA...I fixed it with those deals."

And you'll parrot that as a loyal Trumpster.....contradicting your prediction above.
