Like I said, I'll support the things that Trump does that I agree with, and vice versa.

Let's take for the example the travel hold. I did not agree with it in principle, but didn't really have a problem with it. Once again the liberals and MSM took it to the extreme, and got hysterical. But if I point that out, that means I support the order? No, of course not.

You're looking at it wrong. It's the liberals that are overreacting then calling anyone who disagrees with them or sides with Trump a "fascist collaborater". Even Bernie got hit with that when he applauded Trump over TPP.

What does this mean? "I did not agree with it in principle, but didn't really have a problem with it." You will have to provide more detail.
What's the principle you don't agree with and why is the EO acceptable to you?

I have a pretty good grasp on the whole issue and I can tell you legally it will not stand. Not only is it poorly worded, it was also executed with a hatchet instead of a scalpel.

I am finding it rather difficult to believe that you did not vote for Trump. If true, it may make it easier when he crashes and burns for you to say it was not your fault and then to pivot your postings, but that does not say much for your character.
If true of course. I would hate to call you a liar and a coward Kallie Knoetze, but you love to stir stuff up, and seem to care so little about offending people. Does this not reflect Trump to a T?
    Thanks from Isalexi

As Donald Trump pointed out last night on tv, a lot of people voted for him due to the issue of United States Supreme Court nominations. We knew what we were getting with Hitlery Clinton. Clinton made sure we understood that she was an enemy of the NRA and a little research told me that Merrick Garland voted against gun Rights every chance he got.

Then along came Neil Gorsuch. He is anti - gun:

Articles: Judge Neil Gorsuch: Some Cause for Concern

And, of course, without the left examining Gorsuch's actual record, they react Pavlovian style, because some call the guy a "conservative." What a load of horse manure! Well, that presupposes that the conservatives respect the Constitution. Gorsuch is as "mainstream" as the left can settle for - and HAS settled for:

Uh Oh: Schumer Voted For Gorsuch in 2006 (And a Bunch of Other Democrats Did Too) - Katie Pavlich

You see there. In 2006 Schumer, Barack Obama, Biden, good ol' Hitlery herself gave Gorsuch their support.

I'm not supportive of the nutty wall idea and I think that a majority of Trump's anti-immigration policies will fail in the Supreme Court - at which juncture, he can claim he did all he could. I see Trump's World Wrestling Federation days following him into his political life and, consequently, most of his moves have all the sincerity of a professional wrestling match.

I've not forgotten that Trump was cozy with the left, not really a friend of the right so I knew voting for him was a gamble. His SCOTUS pick confirmed that the leopard cannot change its spots and we're saddled with a left of center Supreme Court for years to come.
Fair enough. Thanks for your honesty.
Do the Goldman Sachs(fill the swamp) appointees rub you the wrong way at all?

Trump's coziness with Goldman Sachs types rubs me the wrong way. Trump's infatuation with Rupert Murdoch bothers me and so does Trump's wannabe lap dog, Chris Christie (Pillsbury Dough Boy.)

The longer that the side show goes on, the more Trump bothers me as president. The Flynn firing (?) incident has me wondering what is wrong with Trump's ability to think. On one hand, Flynn was fired for lying to Vice President Mike Pence and making the administration look dishonest. On the other hand Trump argues that Flynn resigned because someone leaked info to the press and the press crucified Flynn, who is actually a good man, but a victim of the press. Trump tried to sell two narratives of the same event at the same time. Does the insanity ever end?

I'm still glad Clinton did not get in and give us a Judicial Activist, but I wish that someone would articulate to the Head Narcissist in Charge that he has some serious personal issues.
    Thanks from libertariat720
