If Trump is so tight with Russia...

Why did, first, his UN Ambassador, Nikki Haley, attack them over Crimea and Ukraine: UN Ambassador Haley hits Russia hard on Ukraine

And now, he mouthed off at them again about Crimea, through Spicer, this time: Trump expects Russia to return Crimea to Ukraine: White House | Article [AMP] | Reuters

Moscow's answer, of course, was predictable: Russia tells White House it will not return Crimea to Ukraine | Article [AMP] | Reuters

How friendly are Trump and Putin REALLY? I am starting to think that whole "bromance" has been slightly exaggerated...

Then why did Russia help Wikileaks to try to influence the election?

Why did Russian Government officials celebrate when Trump won the election?

And then there is Page, Manafort and Flynn...

And other Trump campaign officials in contact with Russia before the election.

    None of that is normal.

All I know is, the Kremlin, this week, appareny ordered Russian media to stop praising Trump, they seem to be scrubbing most positive coverage of him. And officials who "celebrated" his victory have been rebuked and reprimanded, believe it or not...

Again, whatever relationship that may be there ain't as deep as you guys think...

    Here's my take:

Russia predicted that Hillary would have caused a major headache for them. My guess is that they didn't like her as Secretary of State and didn't want her to be President. So they did what they did. I am not in the circle that believes Trump and Putin are in cahoots however.

Also, Trump admires Putin for his "strongman" tactics. He thinks that is a positive quality in a leader for some reason. Russia doesn't have the same kind of delegation of powers as the U.S. does though. That's why Putin was voted most powerful man in the world instead of Obama the last few years I believe.

So Trump finds himself defending Putin on that front, and it just bad optics when you combine the wikileaks stuff.

In two years we could easily have Trump and Putin in a serious pissing match, with people wishing they were in cahoots. Trump's not the most stoic man you know.

Do you think a nation supporting a person running for office in another nation is a new thing?

Hell, we do it every time there is an election in another country.

And don't forget, this information that was released probably had little to zero impact on the election.

Hillary lost for reasons that had nothing to do with the information that was released, she ran a piss poor campaign is why she lost.

When has the United States ever interfered in the election for the leader of a foreign nation? With a source link, please.

In fairness, your ships that got "buzzed" were also "lurking" in Russian waters at the time
