Spooky has lost all connection to facts and reality quite a while back now.
He has trump running through his veins, no more "it was a protest vote", now it's all out admiration and love.

Republican leaders in Congress want more details from President Trump about his proposed border wall before appropriating significant funding for the project. They have questions about the design and how the administration would handle the rights of property owners whose land would be used to build the structure. “What I’d like to see is a plan that we know is going to be implemented that’s going to be effective before we start writing the check,” said Senate Republican Whip John Cornyn (R-Texas).

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said last week that it probably wouldn’t make sense to build a wall — which Trump suggested during the 2016 campaign would reach between 35 and 45 feet in height — along the entire length of the 1,954-mile U.S.-Mexico border. “There are some places along the border where that’s probably not the best way to secure the border,” McConnell said in an interview with Politico Playbook.

McConnell also said he didn’t think that Mexico would repay the United States in some form for the wall, something Trump has vowed will happen. One of the biggest questions surrounding the wall is how to build it through along the 1,200 miles of border running through Texas, where most of the adjacent land is privately owned. It could take years for the federal government to litigate the eminent domain claims necessary to build the barrier.

Not so sure about the doa thing.

Apparently, GOP congress is willing to give out money, as long as it does not benefit those in need.

Wall will be money wasted, so be on the lookout for them giving trumpie the cash he needs.

Trump wants $4.1 billion for border wall - POLITICO

And that does include all the money it would take to "man" the wall. Or other expenses beyond 2018. Overhaul the "wall" would cost 22 billion in total.

Good luck that MM. That kind of money will only drive up the deficit far beyond what we have now.

How many billions each year do illegals cost taxpayers? Hmmmmm? Welfare benefits to their children (and the mothers), medical costs, schooling, crime. So your alleged concern about costs for the wall pale in comparison to that which you seem to be unconcerned with.

Prog virtue signalling while tens-of-billions every year is the cost of illegals, and 'legalizing' them would only add to those costs.

Then there's the embarrassment factor. It's like when Bush left office and you couldn't find anyone who'd ever voted for the two term president. Because, by then, he'd been dismissed as a RINO. Trump's supporters will one day figure out they were the victim of a con man but to save face they'll never admit it. They'll make up reasons as to why if you look at it in a particular light, he was correct and didn't "actually" lie.

How do you know he's not going to get Mexico to pay for the wall?

It's not even built yet - and I haven't seen him suggest he was no longer interested in finding a way to make Mexico shoulder the costs. So I think your criticism is a bit premature.

Though to be honest I imagine a great majority of Trump supporters wouldn't mind their tax dollars going to strengthen our border or to build the border wall. So even if the President were to abandon his plans to make Mexico pay for the wall - and while it would certainly be fair to criticize him for it - I don't really see it as being particularly damaging for him politically. Not so long as he actually does build the wall. That is what matters most to his supporters.
