Trump's still talking about getting health care reform and then tax reform...

Somebody at "Fox & Friends" needs to explain to him the REALITY of the situation-

    1. It's near impossible to get tax "reform"....without first getting rid of and replacing the ACA. There are taxes built into the law that directly impact other tax policy.

    2. It's near impossible for the GOP in Congress to pass a health care "repeal and replace" bill that BOTH

    A. is Far Right enough to please the Far Right GOP in the House.

    B. is moderate and not self-destructive enough to please Senate Republicans who have to represent States (not Districts) that would see millions thrown off their insurance.

If some Trump fan can resolve these facts and contradictions....with other facts and logic and not just "Nuh-huh"...

    love to hear it.

Hey, if Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell want to seriously hurt their members and party by going along with
Trump's delusion about passing a replacement for the ACA, I say go for it.

No Republican is going to fall on the sword just to give Trump a temporary "win"....or in the false belief that throwing millions off their insurance will somehow be "mitigated" by "keeping our promise to get rid of Obamacare"....

especially NOW that polls are showing SUPPORT for Obamacare in the 50 percentiles.

But if they don't "repeal and replace"? The only tax "reform" they can get is Just Another GOP Tax Cut For the Rich.....

which will also go against Trump's supposed "populism" and make him look like Any Other Republican.

It looks like they are going to try to get a big payroll tax cut in and then later they can claim Medicare and social security are now broke and need to be shut down.

It doesn't seem like America is buying the whole North Korea is a big immediate threat thingy. Bombing Afghanistan and bombing Syrian air fields didn't do the trick either. Now the Republicans figure try to fool the American people again in thinking they are getting closer to a Health Care Deal. They are running out of squirrels. They want you to look away and get distracted. The public is not co-operating for a change, YEAH, GOOD.

Ignore all the fake distractions, keep your eye on Trump=Russia=collusion=corruption=pay for play=impeachment.

IOW the same "Starve them with tax cuts....then blame Democrats....then claim we have to scrap SS and Medicare." Routine the GOP has pulled since Reagan?

There isn't one you are right.

The ACA is one monstrous tax nightmare (even though Obama lied and said it wasn't a tax) so republicans should just back away from it.

Social Security would be just fine if they would replace the close to $3 TRILLION that has been "borrowed" (read STOLEN) from the SS Trust. I am paying almost $300 per month for Medicare and have never used it.
