George Will- Single-payer or doom for the GOP are the only scenarios now

WATCH: George Will predicts Obamacare to become single-payer because of this inconvenient fact

((BTW, let the knee-jerkers on the Right rant about "Raw Story" or even Will....who cares at this point?))

His point is simple....if you accept "Obamacare is going to collapse"...Trump and the GOP Congress face two ...and only two....scenarios-

    1. They let it collapse and replace it with some Ayn Rand "market-based" system that will throw MILLIONS of white, working class people off their insurance....i.e. Trump voters....

and thus get creamed in 2018 and 2020.

or 2. They come up with a way to provide Medicaid for those people....but that means increased Government funding and to keep it solvent and an actual "pool"....it means encouraging others to join up....

i.e. Medicaid for All.....or single-payer....or as the Right bemoans "socialized medicine".

    The Republicans' options?

Get thrown out of office by their own Base......or move to the Left of Bill Clinton and Barack Obama on Government health care insurance?

Republicans know they are stuck in hell with their foolish lie to their constituents that they
could repeal and replace ObamaCare. Delusional Trump doesn't realize it yet.

Overall, this really tickles me. That Barack Obama, always with the long game.

Republicans said back when they were desperate to stop Obamacare that it would be impossible to repeal because it would change the expectations of the public about what government does in regard to health care. No going back.

They were right the first time. Once you give a dog a bone, don't try taking it away.

Great game. Screw the country with an idiotic law so that someone else gets stuck cleaning up his mess. He's a regular Sun Tzu with that strategy.
Democrats lost over a thousand seats during the Obama Administration in large part because of Obamacare. This wasn't some well thought out plan.

Plus, they have to deal with Trump's "I'll give everybody the world's best and cheapest healthcare and everybody will be covered" Promise from the campaign.

But primarily, it's a paradox for the Repubs.

    1. Stick to their Ayn Rand "every man for himself" ideology....which will anger the "Trump Base" who'll lose their health care insurance and thus turn against the Republicans in 2018 and 2020?

    2. Create a system to support working class people....but that means a "Medicaid For All" system, that to work....fiscally?.....has to become Single-Payer.

Fine, Mac....get your rant out of your system.

Now......can you refute George Will's premise?

Smarty pant conservatives know that Barack Obama's place in history, and the country, benefit
from his PPACA achievement. That intellectual conservative George Will knows the likely and eventual
single-payer plan will all be due to the courage and tenacity of Obama. Sweet.

    I wouldn't compare health/medical security for our fellow citizens.....with giving a dog a bone.
