    HSAs are great and it would be great if they were expanded.

    I have $15k in mine, all tax free. You can invest part of it in mutual funds or other investments just like a 401k.

    Excuses. The left is quick to offer and accept excuses. The truth is that savings isn't important to them. That is the mindset that has to change and until it changes, they will remain poor.

    HSA maximum contributions for 2017 is $6550 for individual and $13,100 for family and that is only if you have a HDHP.
