Working class Americans who likely have far better things to do with their time than participate in polls.

By the way, why do you call the President a thug? He's not a criminal - nor is he violent. Seems like a stretch to call him a thug to me...

Brash? Sure. Crude? On occasion. But a thug? Nah.
Not only that, he's too big of a pussy to be a thug.

Self-aggrandizement ("I'm more presidential than everyone but Lincoln.")
Unctuous praise or unfounded compliments for the audience at that moment ("We love the uneducated.")
Rambling lack of focus ("...which, by the way,______."
Gunnysacking ("We're going to bring back Merry Christmas" said in July)
Belittlement of the opposition ("Losing," "Failing," "Crooked," "Disasterous," etc.)
Unrealistic promises (e.g., "We're going to bring back coal...clean, clean coal")
Yep,learned that long ago. And you only have to spend a few minutes with a person to spot them.

I would much rather deal with people who treated me as an inferior, yet was fair in how they dealt with me. I cannot abide in yellow bellied pinks who act as if they care or show faux concern for my well being and all the while, they have nothing but utter disdain for 'yours' truly' as well as malicious contempt.

    Hope this helps.
    Well said.

I would take a honest thug over a suave two-faced politician any day of the week and twice on Thursday.

To quote one of my favorite authors and commentators: "Civility is overrated." Especially when it's used to mask their true intentions as if often the case.

I suppose we are all entitled to our opinions. But that is not a word I would use to describe the President. Now maybe if you used that world describe his predecessor I could agree with you.

Well, thank you for your candor.

I think MOST Trump voters would say they don't like thugs.

The cognitive dissonance is like a sonic boom.

But the longer he maintains his thuggish behavior when people had expected him to pivot from huckster to something more presidential, the more we see people freed from the shackles of partisan solidarity, and enabled to step up and say that Trump is out of line.
