Is it a liberal policy or a conservative policy when we pool our tax dollars to set up a police dept, fire dept, garbage collection, K-12 schools, etc?

Those are basic functions of a government we all accept, its nobody's policy.

Policy's are things like giving people taxpayer money to go buy food because they are too lazy to work.

Still though....maybe it is time for Texas and other states do more for BIRTH control (Which, if CONDOMS are part of the conversation, may also fall under the category of DISEASE control....)

Now, a question for you: How well are all those "liberal policies" working in Chicago, Detroit and Baltimore?
Maybe you can explain why Republicans are against abortion, yet they are against birth control, too.

Where is the common sense in this? Maybe TN can explain this to me? One of you.anyone?

We aren't against birth control whatsoever.

We are against paying for it for people.

Where do you guys come up with this nonsense?

One can only assume it's something that's bled over from the Catholic doctrine, which is blatantly designed to ensure that the faithful keep reproducing as much as possible.

Oh, and no whacking off, either.

What a bunch of shit heads. Republicans who supposedly support smaller government but support literally EVERYTHING that amounts to telling other people what to do...illegal drugs, illegal abortion, no gay marriage, blah blah blah.

Get your fucking story straight. What a steaming pile of stupidity.

You should realize that those things have the word ILLEGAL in front of them.

Yes, we support upholding our laws.

Not sure those fall under either persuasion. More often than not they are apolitical.

Well, not to generalize, I think I first feel the need to stress that "not all Republicans" are against both abortion, and birth control. Some are against neither. Some are only against Late Term Abortions, OR, Abortions on the tax payer dime....

As such, many simply see Abortion as the taking of a life (Which, is a correct assumption, according to the science of biology....) They just seem to feel strongly that the taking of an innocent life is wrong. I guess, the argument is whether it is a "human" life, or, just an Invasive Fetal Tissue Growth, akin to cervical cancer.

I can't really explain why many do not want Sex taught in schools. Some of my friends who have teenage children seem to feel that in doing so, the schools are encouraging premarital sex (And, yes, some still have a problem with that....) I say, 'what the hell.' If a kid learns how to shag well in high school (or, middle school, even), that just means he or she will be very popular in college, and, have mastery over one of life's most important skills.)

For my part, I take no issue with someone killing their fetus, baby, or toddler. (Although, killing a fetus, late-term, or a toddler does seem somewhat extreme in my opinion....) Still, though, that's their business, not mine. Would be nice if we had some consistency in the whole matter, though.

If Liberals have taught me anything, it's that life really isn't all that precious or rare, or special.

We'll have to figure out how to allocate our resources and spend our time without them? Is that supposed to be frightening?

I've not heard many things in my life stupider than the idea that rich people will abandon America if we don't hand the keys to the kingdom over to them.
That like the stupid argument that if you raise capital gains taxes, no one will invest in the stock market
