Congress backs away from presidents all the time if they think it will hurt their re-election plans.

Hell, there were some that refused to meet Obama.

    It happens during every administration.

    Depends!

IF there is NO nuclear war with North Korea in the next month, that figure of 59% will rise to only 65%.

If there IS a nuclear war with North Korea in the next month, that figure will either rise to 99.99%, or fall abruptly to 0%, if none of us are alive to take part in a poll.

    Which was not enough.

    Making it a failure.

    See how that works?

Well, there IS more than ONE of them who thinks Trump is a failure. Making the plural quite apropos.

    a) most of them voted for him, i'm sure.
    b) the last 7 years, they all bellowed for repeal / replace of the ACA.. THEY didn't come up with a plan. Yet NOW that THEY failed, they use Trump as the scapegoat, to protect their next election. And nothing else, they did not all of a sudden grow a conscience.
it's pretty pathetic to blame Trump for healthcare failure when they came up with a steaming pile of shit. Only thing a president can do is rally people to support the bill, help get the votes needed. For one, Trump has no political ability to do that, and even then, the bill was such a steaming pile of shit.

Yeah, Republicans own this, they own Trump, they own voting for the garbage bill, they own not having anything better after 7 years of demanding the repeal it, they own the fact all they ever do is try to give the people that have it all already in this country even more money

Or, to put it a way some of the trolls will understand: "Trump lost. Get over it. Your side lost. You're a loser. And I'm pointing and laughing at you, and am rejoicing that you are not happy, no matter what you are unhappy about, even if it hurts me, too."
