You can’t dig solar panels out of the ground, no matter how much praying you do to your weather gods. So out of the two, fossil fuels is much more ‘green’, to use your lingo.

Heh heh, so you keep bleating. You sound like Manuel from Fawlty Towers

Fossil fuels are "dug out of the ground", while sunlight is gathered as it falls on the ground.

Rob Larrikin just missed the opportunity to explain to his public that atoms are something "natural" too....... And since everything is made out of atoms, therefore everything is natural even mush mellows.

You claim a "theory" that is easily debunked, and for the fucking record, aluminum has a basis in natural material; bauxite,, which we have mined and developed for over a century.

Really, you are so far in the wrong here, it's laughable.

You know NOTHING about elemental science, so stop, because it's embarrassing.

    Really.

And if you knew what I know about "green technology" you would have never started this thread in the first place, think 3D NAND, wall plug efficiency, and gallium arsenide; you might fucking learn something.

And for the record @Friday13 is no troll; Friday is one of the best posters I've ever encountered, who the fuck are you???

    LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

Coal, oil, gas and uranium are all made by nature, in a perfectly “green” way. Trees, plants, microorganisms (zooplankton, algae etc) and dinosaurs die, and are turned into coal, oil and gas. Uranium was apparently formed in supernovas about 6.6 billion years ago, long before naughty humans came along.

So all of these fuels are very, very green. Just as green as a metallic mint green Buick Skylark convertible.

On the other hand, if you look at solar panels, they are the very opposite of ‘naturally made’, since they are created by putting together dozens of different pieces of aluminium, steel, copper, zink, plastic, glass, rubber and who knows what else, in factories all over the place, and installed on the roofs of buildings that are themselves made up of all kinds of things made out of who knows what, made in hundreds of different factories.

The same can be said for wind power generators. Anything but green!

    Explain that, Greenies!
Explain a made up premise that is patently ridiculous?

Yes, it is. I smash your arguments to pieces and you bleat the same words over and over.

    You can't "burn" Bunker C.
Who cares? My caveman’s burning crude. His tribe use it for sending signals to others, miles away. It burns easily, and creates a lot of black smoke.

    What a stupid argument.
The one your Straw Man made? Maybe, but I wasn’t there.

The coal was not in the ground. It was an open face. The gas was not in the ground. It was leaking out. Same as the crude oil. Leaking out. Cavemen were very green, ask a hippy. Fire is as green as it gets. Ask a thunder cloud. When a caveman burned some coal it was as green as your knowledge on these matters. Certainly MUCH greener than a solar panel.

And… solar panels are green even though it took a million factories to make them. Riiight…

    Lefties are such a scream.

True, but that may have been a little too intellectual for my trolls. Since you bring it up though, yes, you are right. Everything is natural since everything is made of atoms, quarks, strings, molecules, etc., and is the stuff of stars. This is why a nuclear power station is ‘green’.

I always have a good laugh when I see a hippy driving around in an old car with black smoke exuding from its exhaust, and a bumper sticker that reads ‘Solar, not nuclear!’ Obviously it never occurred to them that solar IS nuclear.
