Newt!! The horrible man who cheated on his dying wife while throwing away $70 million to prove Bill Clinton had a sexual relationship with an intern?

Possibly the WORST Speaker in history.

I think this is the biggest challenge the GOP has ever gone through.

He does bring up the obvious. There is little or no compromise in Washington. Tribalism has become the rule rather than the exception. Why work together to pass legislation when winning elections and beating the opposition is everything.

No, liberals do not have some shared plan to destroy the stock market.
I didn't say that. When I speak of "markets," I'm not talking only about the stock market. But Bernie isn't a liberal--he's beyond that.

The 0.01% do, though. That would actually be a terrific way to sort the wheat from the chaff. There hasn't been adequate policing of the financial sector since Reagan, and it is eventually going to kill Investor confidence.
Sorry, this makes no sense to me. I don't believe the .01% are stupid enough to kill the very environment in which they prosper so completely. I DO think they crashed the HOUSING market, perhaps on purpose, so they could turn America's homeowner housing stock into rental property. We see that happening right now.

So, a politician who has supported adequate regulation of financial dealings (say, Mike DeWine who is AG of Ohio) is probably not a corporate whore.
As opposed to anyone from Delaware?

I think the problem at this point are the people. I think there are so many radicalized citizens, that it's impossible for reps and dems to actually work together. If they do so, they get hated and primaried, and so the problem just gets worse. I wonder where we go from here?

You should credit Winston Churchill for that line.
