    Especially when they've never been there, and most can't even point it out on a map. Practically none know anything about the politics in Africa, and few would agree with it.

    So why the false label?

    It's true their ancestors were from there, but we all have ancestors from somewhere else. So what?

    I'm seriously interested in what information you use to back up your position that the majority of blacks lack basic intelligence.
    Plenty of people go questioning average Americans about these things. When asked to point out where Africa is on a map, many don't have a clue, and that includes African Americans, not just whites. I have raised this question with African Americans I've met, and they agree with me. They blame it on their schools.

    Since nobody has answered, I'll tell you.

    It's because the Left want them to remain labelled in this way. Can you guess why?

    I don't call myself that.

    I simply say black.

    Its kind of a sterotype that we all insist on saying African-American.

    We all don't.

    A Staw Man out there may have insisted all blacks call themselves African American, but I didn't use the word 'all'.

    The question remains: Why do 7th generation Americans call themselves African/Americans? Many millions do. The Press call them this most of the time.

    Well if you want the real answer one is an adjective the other is a noun.

    Black = adjective

    African-American = noun

    Actually, black is a noun, too.
