Someone shouldn't have fewer due process rights because they're a college student.
This woman has correctly identified a serious problem, but she is not qualified to solve it.

2,000 years of Western Jurisprudence is still struggling with how best to punish as many rapists as possible, but as few people who are innocent as possible.

No shame on DeVos. The brightest legal minds of the world have not yet solved the problem.

What I think would help would be to return the duty to investigate and prosecute to the cops and DA.

So there are no more "Rolling Stone magazine" fuck ups. College administrators who maybe oversee admissions are not professional law enforcement specializing in sexual assault crimes.

Young women in college need to be taught we don't live in a world where they can DEMAND to be kept safe even if they get so intoxicated, they become unconscious.

Pussy grabber is direct and to the point. No more than the PGIC claimed or deserves.
Both are direct and to the point.

Feminazi is quite accurate as well

I am not sure you can lay this at Obama's door. Something has been happening with young feminists for some time.

They seem to feel entitled to bully any male accused of a "sexual aggression", even one that is not a criminal act (if it occurred).

No interest in, or appreciation for, due process.

it is perfectly accurate and that is irrefutable.

I agree...women should be taught how young men behave when they have too much to drink. They are immature and have barely evolved beyond a rock ape. We also need to teach our young men how to treat a woman. I think that ship has sailed for young men. You don't have sex with anyone who is unconscious and it is a really bad idea if a stranger initiates sex and consents only to be mistreated after it happens by not returning text messages, kissing and telling or just becoming a dick afterwards. This creates "buyers remorse" and girls get pissed and rape accusations are perfect retaliations. If I had a son, I would advise him against engaging in sex if he is drunk...10 minutes could ruin your life and women deserve better than that.
    Thanks from Madeline

This thread is so strange - feminazi's and thinking that college age girls are stupid to know about how much to drink.

There is far more to sexual assaults on college campuses then just raping girls who are unconscious. Guys are victims too.

One in five female undergraduates have experienced some kind of sexual assault while in college, according to a new study of students at nine institutions released Wednesday by the Bureau of Justice Statistics. The study included survey responses from 15,000 women and 8,000 men, and defined sexual assault as including both rape and sexual battery, such as forced kissing, touching, grabbing or fondling.

They kind of are Jen. They are just learning how to drink and are not used to it. If they are drinking to the point of passing out...they do not know their limit. I know when I first started drinking...I got sick as a dog and was considered a "puker" It took several years to establish my limit. Mixing booze and young guys causes issues like this...young men are not known for impulse control or self restraint. We also did not considered a forced kiss as assault back in the day. Every women, in alcohol social settings will experience the surprise kiss from a guy who misread the message she was sending. Some guys think if a attractive girl smiles at them they like them. It isn't so much about the young girls...but the men they are socializing with and where they are with maturity...which is years behind them. It is not a strange thread...but a thought provoking one.

Again, not all of these assaults are due to getting drunk....

Don't think we would "schooled" by parents back in the day about the dangers of getting too drunk in college, because sexual assaults were not talked about then.

I just find it hard to believe that parents don't talk their son's in this area. I know I have, several times. Then again he's not a big party type to begin with thankfully.

I find it discouraging as well to blame some of these assaults on girls, even if they were drunk. 9 times out of 10, it's guys who make the first "move". My link shows many girls never even report the assault. I would assume the same goes the guys who are victims as well. Probably even more so.
    Thanks from PACE
