Remember when nail clippers and tweezers were prohibited on airline flights? Did that make anyone safer or was it eventually acknowledged as a stupid and ineffective restriction?

So, you're comparing nail clippers to firearms? Let me think, which is more dangerous? Which has been a bigger danger to society? Hmmmmmm?

Sorry for you folks in states that are forced to wear them.
Yeah, as most fatalities in bike accidents are due to head injuries not requiring helmets means a steady supply of relatively young, relatively healthy organ donors.
    Fine by me.

My guns have killed just as many people as my nail clippers.

    Tear 'em down!
I was always under the impression, if a stop sign has white bordering around it...it was optional. Is that not true? I think we should eliminate speed limits from streets and highways. All roads should be like the autoban. It sure would have saved me a lot of headache and money.

Plumbers are good too as long as you reconnect all the tubes before you put them back in the patient! (that was the essence of an actual surgeon's joke!)

But I am aware of no nail clippers killing anyone. Nail clippers are safe in society and don't require much regulation. Guns have been proven to be a danger to society and require much more legislation.
