Offering people public assistance if they can't find a job within 150 miles of their home (as has been done in Germany).

150 miles is quite a lot ... 2-3 hours of driving in the U.S. (depending on the exact location and traffic circumstances) one-way. Four hours of driving per day for an 8 hour per day job is huge. I do not see that as being "extreme left wing."

We're Americans. We can move. I'm from Pittsburgh--you know how many people left my hometown for jobs and lives elsewhere when the steel industry collapsed?

Those are extreme views. I can't argue with that. I'm certain most lefties don't feel that way, but those are extremes.

    Shutting down the banking system.

Opposing all new construction of pipelines.

Mandating that all citizens be allowed to attend college at no cost, regardless of either their academic capabilities or their family's personal wealth.

Proposing that government should take ownership of all means of production.

Those are a few that come to mind off the top of my head.
    Thanks from Blues63 and bmanmcfly
