One of the guys I know has used it for tree removal. Says it's more fun than a chainsaw.

It's plausible deniability by the manufacturer. They say what it should be used for but know why people really want it. It's like the beer company that ends their ad saying they're for responsible drinking.

    Probably not as much fun.

So ... it's an explosive for purely cosmetic purposes. The explosion serves no real function that can't be fulfilled easily, cheaply, effectively, and safely.

Didn't someone point out that it can be used for tree removal? There's a practical purpose. Especially when taking down a large tree that is rotten in the middle and could break in half and fall on the chainsawer. Shooting it from a distance would be safer....

...and a lot more fun as well.

Could someone else please go to google.com, and type using tannerite for ... and tell me if the first suggestion is the same thing I'm seeing? WTF?

As I was typing in those three words, Google automatically offered "gender reveal".

    Is that what you got?

Probably. When they say "I'm feeling lucky" I think they may be pushing it a little too far.

Yeah... WTF? At least it's not just my computer.

Anyway, I suppose tannerite could be used to remove tree stumps - but it sounds like removing tree stumps with tannerite isn't very effective, since the blast is undirected, and most of the blast will blow out the path of least resistance; away from the stump.

Sounds like it's much more effective for creating limb stumps on goofy gun nuts.
    Thanks from Blueneck
