Yes, you have said that many times. And that is wonderful. The Commonwealth of Kentucky is paying the legal fees for her defense. It's a done deal.

That's the way it works in this here America.

We are all free to express our opinions on the matter, of course.

But, it falls on those citizens of Kentucky to decide...
Did I say it wasn't up to the voters of Kentucky? I said she deserves to be voted out. If she isn't voted out then the voters get what they deserve. What's your problem? You just want to argue for arguments sake? At least find an issue were the other party disagrees with you but this isn't it.

Actually it is up to the voters of Rowan County, Kentucky. I think she'll get reelected.

And the taxpayers deserve to be dinged for the cost of voting her in and if they keep voting her in and she keeps fucking up they deserve to keep paying money to defend her stupid ass. There is an old saying that people get the gov't they deserve.

This would be her trying to eat her cake and have it, too.
Looks like the federal judge who ruled against her also ordered the state to pay the fees. He did it based on the "official capacity" argument.

I suspect that they had no reasonable way out of paying the legal fees. After all, she was duly elected. Still, that in no way mitigates her own personal misconduct related to the matter.
    Thanks from Friday13

The matter will be up to the voters in Rowan County soon enough.

Here's the thing, the Commonwealth of Kentucky picked up the charges. She will be running for reelection in Rowan County. Guess who is running against her? David Ermold, the gay man that sued the county. Small, rural, churchgoing community in Kentucky. Who do you think will win? Keep in mind that Kim is a Democrat. I wonder what party, Ermold will run in.

    Why, no, no you didn't.

Did I say "We are all free to express our opinions on the matter..."?

    Why, yes, yes I did.

    (Maybe you missed that.)

He's ONE of the people running against her. I suspect there are others, even in the local Dem party, willing to challenge her. Locals really didn't like all the attention.
